1818 -  O.107 R.1 PCGS AU 53 CAC

Antique grey patina with subtle, iridescent highlights of gold, copper and turquoise.  Diffuse luster is strongest at the peripheries and around the devices.  The originality of the coin will appeal to all.  The first offering from a Midwest collection; each received a CAC sticker when I submitted the coins for the consignor.  This one last appeared at the Feb. 2009 Long Beach Show where it was snatched up for $775.  Est. $700 to $900.
