Crisply struck, early die state.  Dentils, stars, Liberty’s curls, cap and drapery are razor sharp.  Only the eagle’s left wing has any sign of weakness.  Blazing luster enhances the eye appeal of this untoned beauty.  In all, a top notch example of the XXX “experimental” edge variety.  Quite scarce this nice.  Last offered on my website in March 2023 where it sold for $4,000.
