1811 Lg. 8 -  O.103a R.3 PCGS AU 58 CAC

Ex Tom Palmer and Roger Solomon.  Original!  The pristine surfaces are overlaid with a gorgeous crust of pastel russet toning, the reverse a bit lighter.  This was Tom Palmer’s set piece, acquired by Roger Solomon at the April 2008 Baltimore Show.   Tom is now fighting ALS.  For years he helped organize the FUN Show.  I used his mouthwatering Red Book set of bust halves for slide and video presentations in the 1980s and 1990s.  Tom had the eye and patience to select the best of the best.  This 1811 Large 8 bears witness to his efforts.  Est. $2,700 to $3,500.
