The vast majority of this die pair display filled A’s in the legend.  In his 5th ed. revision of Overton Don Parsley rated the early die state (or “prime”) R.4.  The BHNC suggests R.5+.  If you collect the series by die variety AND die states, don’t miss this opportunity!  Dusty grey toning blankets the coin.  The NGC grade is generous.  Most would settle on XF 40 or choice VF.
