1829 - O.106 R.5- PCGS Shield MS 61 CAC
Ex Dr. Charles Link, noted on the PCGS label. Cloudy grey toning smacks of originality. Flecks of gold iridescence dot the stars and legend. The luster is full, though a bit muted by the antique toning. No marks deserve mention. This mid to low Condition Census piece is headed for a world class collection. Davignon’s AU 58 brought $4,400 in MB 39 last year. This CAC approved example is even nicer. Acquired by private treaty in Nov. 2008. Earlier in the collections of Robert Zornes and David Kahn. This rarity is yet to be priced in the PCGS Price Guide. Est. $3,750 to $4,750.
