1836 Bar Dot - O.122 R.2 PCGS MS 63 CAC

Ex Dr. Charles Link. Another patently original bust half. Pale bronze toning enhances the obverse. The reverse patina displays dusky hues of auburn and russet. Immaculate surfaces befit the grade. An enigmatic “bar dot” is plainly visible alongside the 6 in the date. Dick acquired the coin from Dr. Charles Link via private treaty. Estimate: $1,800 to $2,200.
