When Heritage offered the coin in its August 2019 ANA Sale (lot 3473), Dick prevailed at $3,600. Your cataloguer was an unhappy underbidder! I loved the exquisite detail in Liberty’s tresses and the eagle’s wings. Luster abounds. A blanket of golden toning further elevates the eye-appeal. Estimate: $2,500 to $3,000.
