A museum piece. At least that is what the toning and eye-appeal suggest. In fact, Richard Pugh plucked the coin from a bourse case at one of the Long Beach shows in 1990. Our consignor was ready when it was offered as lot 1137 in Superior’s June 1992 sale of the Pugh Collection.
