1821 - O.106a R.1 PCGS AU 58

Faint rub in the left obverse field, otherwise mint state. Beautifully impressed with full luster. The coin never saw circulation. Ex Dr. Charles Link, noted on the PCGS label. It brought $2,350 when offered by Legend in its October 2015 sale. I acquired it sometime thereafter. Scorzafava plucked it from my fixed price list (paying $2,450) in March 2023. Estimate: $2,000 to $2,500
