Ex Tom Sears, acquired from your cataloguer in June 2015. Struck on a slightly oversized planchet, as are a fair number of this die pair. Top flight surfaces! Luster abounds, more than enough to consider and justify an upgrade. Gentle wisps of rose and gold toning augment the eye appeal. I’d wager that storage in a kraft envelope is a part of this coin’s 218-year history. Estimate: $4,000 to $4,500
