Blinding luster! Quite a shock for a mere “53.” The graders, perhaps, were misled or put off by the worn dies. There is precious little wear on the coin. The surfaces are exemplary. Clash marks abound, but there are virtually no signs of handling or of contact with other coins. The coin deserves a 2nd look by PCGS. Est. $900 to $1,200.
