1824 - O.108a R.4 AU 55+ CAC

A spectacular – and original - 1824. The surfaces showcase a panoply of colors. Luster runs deep into the fabric of the coin. The surfaces are virtually free of marks. I wonder whether PCGS worried about the late die state which accounts for some softness in the strike. The coin puts many AU 58s to shame. From the Kings Park Collection.
